IT Pathshala Conducted Online Employability Test for 10,000 IT Students

The Indian IT Industry is considered one of the leading industries for the employment generation and offers ample job opportunities to people across the nation.Due to huge Employability Gap, there is shortage of skilled work force as per the industry requirements. Considering the concern, IT Pathshala has started Online Employability Test for prospective IT students and professionals. The major objective of the Test is to provide an Online Skill Assessment platform to candidates wherein they can appear for various skill tests ranging from Technology Skill Test, Soft Skill Test, Communication Skill Test , Aptitude Test and can evaluate their strong skills and area of improvements.

In order to spread the awareness of Test, company started conducting Online Employability Test in engineering colleges located in Delhi & NCR region. During February to March 2012, company conducted test in 7 colleges and around 2000 students appeared for the test. Moving further to next months, during April to May 2012, the test was conducted in 16 colleges wherein around 4100 candidates appeared for the test.

With grand success and overwhelming response received from colleges and candidates, the company added more colleges from different states into the list and, during June to August 2012, the test was conducted in around 9 engineering colleges wherein around 3900 candidates appeared for the test.

In this way, 10,000 candidates have successfully appeared for IT Pathshala’s Employability Test till now and this is one of the most significant milestones, company has achieved.
